About Heidi
Heidi is a certified health coach, nutrition educator, substitute teacher, mom, and wife. She is also an FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) graduate from NYC with years of experience working in the fashion industry designing and being creative.  She has always believed in a healthy living as an adult, especially after becoming a mother, and wanted to spread this message through education and coaching. Growing up health was not looked at as a top priority in her home which made her want to learn as much as she can and share what she learned as a health coach. It was actually quite the opposite. Her mother really didn't know better and made her clean her plate before leaving the table at mealtimes and fruit  juice was the drink of choice.   This led to her being a not so fit school aged girl and suffered the consequences until she learned how to take care of herself as a teen.

Now as as a mom, she feels especially passionate about promoting family health and empowering families to raise healthy children. Her solutions are based on her personal experiences, expert knowledge, credible resources and timely health information.

Heidi says:

I do it because…
  • I believe people don’t realize how good they can feel once they begin making healthy choices – whether in diet or lifestyle.
  •  it’s a good proactive measure for your health and preventative medicine against modern day disease.
  • it’s empowering to be able to enhance your health through your plate – helping your confidence and self-control, as much as your physical health and especially important to empower our children with this knowledge early on.
  • I enjoy teaching kids how to make healthier choices while having fun expressing imagination and creativity.
  • it's easier than you think to make simple healthy changes.

Heidi received her Health Coach Certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, founded by world-renowned physician and author, Dr. William Sears.
